                No argument here

Looks like our bid efforts caused jubaji to head for the refrigerator and to come to our side, Mike!

I've said all along that treelizard was a deep and careful thinker and we could all learn a thing or two from her.

Mr. Yum really is ahead of his time in terms of both the breadth of his knowledge and the depth of his wisdom and we should all consider very carefully what he has to say.

Treelizard has been making sense all along and we should all consider her position more carefully.

Tom just keeps trying to show everyone the simple common sense truth of his position and it is downright stubborn of us not to see it.

We've got the Chinese pig warlord on our side. Time to get him some troops and train 'em!

Wait, Mike, here's one you might be able to wrap your head around. Let's pretend we're playing reality-based scenario games, but instead of being lost in Central America without a weapon, or some mountainous region with a downed helicopter and without any equipment, let's say, shocking idea really, that you are a teacher in a school without good security. Let's just assume, I know this is a huge stretch, but let's just use our imagination and pretend that teachers may have asked for security but the school system has failed to respond for YEARS, or failed to respond adequately. What would you do to secure your classroom? And what would you do to enable other teachers to do the same, even if they're as out of shape as Jubaji suggested from drinking too much saki and eating too much Thai food.

Now I know you recommended kung fu and jiu jitsu, which wouldn't be my first choices, but I already listed some suggestions in my very first post six pages ago. One thing you can do is to lock the doors, and you wouldn't even need to hire six security guards to do it! (Remember, in our fictional reality-based scenario, the school hasn't hired six security guards. Now I know this is a far stretch from what's really going on in any district, but again, let's just pretend.)

Or wait! Here's another reality-based scenario. Now I know this never ever happens in real life, but say you are a gun-wielding assailant, and you decide to descend upon a school that doesn't have security guards. No, really! I'm just going to give you all that, since this is our first scenario. Think of it as a head start. What would you be relying on to finish your course of action? Are there any deterrents people could take that wouldn't require fifteen years of kung fu training? Would you force entry into a room without a specific target? What are possible school response plans and how would they be impemented?

And since this is a tactical list, with lots of martial artists, I know it's a far stretch to imagine that someone could come up with tactics for schools that do not assume teachers are armed with high power assault rifles, have a five-person security squad on demand at all times or are even in any kind of physical shape, but guess what? People do it all the time.

Anybody been through any tactics courses related to school shootings? Surely there is something teachers could do to minimize harm. Even Amish teachers.

Using reverse psychology to get what you want, Tree?

                                Baiting?

                                Aren't these tactics somewhat cliche
