Then the question becomes, what makes a good partner?

In addition to good chemistry and attraction, I think qualities like trust, honesty and communication make a good partner - as cheesy as this may sound.

I like to think that if I want a trustworthy girlfriend, then I've got to be trustworthy guy myself but this doesn't always seem to workout that way.

Don't have a problem with this, as I'm comfortable checking in and doing the kind of things it would take to earn trust early on and as necessary - but if I have to jump over the empire state building to earn this kind of trust, well that's a whole different story lol

Honesty is a good thing. If I have something to say, I'm usually tactful.

Communication, yeah you've got to speak your mind and your heart. Ideally the things that come out aren't too vile. I mean everyone curses now and then for some reason but I'd hope she's sane (or atleast crazy in the good ways).

Sharing a few similar interests is definitely a plus or atleast interest in another's - yeah, I've sat through Operas before but in exchange, she sat through a championship fight - live! Reciprocation = good.

I guess these things would make her equally a beautiful person.

Beautiful women come in different races, but being a good partner is what separates an irresistible woman from a beautiful one.

To me that's ultimately one of the most attractive things about a woman. Chemistry plays a role, as do looks but these are probably a close second and third.
