There is progress being made in Iraq. The Iraqi army is successfully leading their own missions against insurgents. That's a good sign, but it came at a high price...

Coast Guard is ALREADY involved...and when we are AT WAR (especially with terrorist) any party that suggest disarming the public should be watched VERY carefully. When you run from one idiots rule be careful who you replace him with or it might bite you in the ass when you need those weapons later.

Seriously, there are many battle-minded and capable people running our corporations.

Imagine the war power we could harness if their intangible resources were focused on fighting war rather than profitability.

I just don't get it. How can people think of going to war with Iran? Iran is nothing compared to Iraq. It is a country with a population of 70 million. It has its own military industry. It has missiles that can reach all USA bases in area. Iran also has the best anti-ship missile in the world from Russia the sunbeam. It has Chinese and Russian support and the Muslim people in general. It is a region with nothing but mountains.

The general rule in the military if one wants to invade a country is 1 troop for 15 people. Do the math it is 4.5 million troops. Where the hell is the USA going to get that? Invasion is not possible right now.

Look at Bush's ratings. He is like the worse president in USA history. I don't think the American people can trust him anymore. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan. What did we get form these two countries, nothing.

I am anit-war in general. I put human life over everything else. I don't think national interests should be put above human life. The only thing that has happen is the oil companies getting rich. Nothing more nothing less. They don't care about our troops. They send them again and again without training and equipment. Some of our troops don 't even have healthcare. 3000 have died. 10000 don't have arms or legs. What about the 600000 Iraqi people since USA envaded. I don't even think Sudam killed that much people.

I am Muslim and I understand the region. Under the current conditions it is never going to get better. It will just get worse. It is what it is. The main problem in that region is the puppet governments that are put in place and Israel and palestine issue. Once we get these solved it will be a stable region. You can put all the armies in the world there but nothing is going to change.
