Did a 6.5 mile LSD run lead by our LPO early in the morning. Gonna tidy up the living space, lift some weights this evening, go to work and read.

Garland has got the idea down lol
More yard work. Fix the small leak in my roof if it ever stops raining long enough.
Workout some cause Dr has me on light duty right now. Help the Father in Law with some house work that he needs to get done so the Mother in Law will quit nagging him. Then drink some and when I'm done with that maybe drink a little more.

Today I had to stay after school for detentions and then to wait for their parents to show up... took forever. Then started moving. Tomorrow I finish moving hopefully and then go out woo hoo! but he said it has to be at night because he has a lot of football to watch. I'm hoping to see the new Bourne movie. I also have to grade papers, enter grades, unpack, etc. Then write lesson plans and read books about class management. blah

I just finished marinating 10 T Bone steaks for my labor day bar b Q. I'll share the receipe.
First poke tiny holes on both sides of the steak with a fork or knife. Then sprinkle meat tenderizer on both sides of the steak, followed with black pepper, accent, season all, garlic powder and onion power. Smother both sides in your favorite bar b q sauce, cover in aluminum foil and let it set in the fridge for 24 hours. Light your charcoal grill and enjoy.
Be sure to have some cold beer handy.

I did bring in improv comedians one day to help teach subplot, parallel episode, etc. but even for that not everyone filled out their graphic organizers... *sigh*Last edited by Tom Yum; 09-04-2007, 04:02 PM.

Originally posted by Mike BrewerTry that same recipe, but instead of BBQ Sauce, use some Worcestershire and a can/bottle of your favorite beer. Newcastle is a great flavor for steaks, as is Killian's.
1/4 crab meat
20 baby portabello mushrooms
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 cup mozzarella
Cut stumps off mushrooms
mix bread crumbs egg and 1/2 cup cheese in bowl
Stuff mushrooms with mix
sprinkle other cup cheese on mushroom caps
Baked at 375 for 20 minutes or until cheese is really melty
let stand for 5 minutes to cool
Nosh away.
