It has happened, no longer can you make jokes about people being paid in Canadian dollars, soon it is they who will be making the jokes

Low US Dollar does have advantages for people in the EU, finally things become affordable for us (remember we tend to have lower wages in Europe)

Pitty postage has gone up so much

2000 euro gross a month is above what most people make
Heck example wages in the callcenterbranche(technical and non tech are the same) 1500 gross
aprox the same for Metal branche
      taxed about 30%

Retailers here take the US price and charge that plus 10-20% in euro
In my country a average house will cost 250.000 euro
and an average house isn't what you expect in the US
(in my view caused by tax deductability of the morgage rent)

most product will go to a 20.5% VAT

So for people interested in US products this will be huge difference, again pitty obout the shipment cost

      Oh Whopper Cheese 3.40 €
