No, not using the pen directly as a weapon, rather fighting on paper.
I came up with this topic while thinking about Darrianation's thread about who should you prepare to fight. He came up with a pretty scary description of someone with the will and more than enough skill to do bad stuff - but what about those with the same will, but skill with pen or better yet electronics?
Take someone, say an ex-human resources manager whose picked up a few tricks of the trade with electronic surveillance, experience with information brokerage and contacts in the IT industry; she also wines and dines with those in higher up positions at some of the nations most prestigious financial institutions or better yet at medical service centers where your personal information is a few key strokes away.
She's out to get you
She could be a bitter ex-girlfriend, a bitter ex-colleague. Either way her desire is to ex-you on paper anyway she can.
It could be a he...
He's got a Master's degree in psychology/sociology or even an MBA and is also a highly proficient programer, who also happens to know alot about computer viruses, key loggers and cell phone technology...
He's a random stalker type, following you from internet board to internet board. Hacking into your cell phone and contacting folks on your call lists. He's found someone he can f-ck with and enjoys throwing screws into your life, simply because....he can.
I believe one should learn how to fight in every arena. Including the electronic and information front. Identity theft and social engineering are the new crimes of the century, with few understanding how to counterattack in this arena.
