Russian a no go area for blacks and asians

Guys,

I am planning on backpacking around europe and may head through Russia. Now I have heard that Russia there are 50, 000 skinheads roaming the streets. Blacks and asians are stabbed, beaten and killed by skinheads on a daily basis and the police apparently laugh and watch the blacks and asians being murdered very sickening. I read many russians hate blacks and asians from what i read and consider them "scum" or those who feed off the state.

I read one time on the metro during the day 10 skinheads attacked 4 asian guys with steel pipes. The asian guys pulled knives and the asians started to win the fight. When the asians started winning the police broke up the fight.

Now this really shits me up and i am thinking should i really risk my life going to Russia and getting murdered by skinheads.

I need some advice here please

I just want to clarify before I get fired on by russian gents who may haunt this forum I am not saying that all russians are racist in Russia. Its what i have read and its scary.

I have met many educated russian people in UK who are IT software developers, senior managers and even have thier own businesss. I can spend hours chatting to these wonderful people about anything. I wish all british were like this !
