  • Training with motorbike helmet?

Anyone done this whats it like, this video is hilarious but it might actually be useful, cant stop laughing at that guys head getting knocked all over the place, im sure its not actually helping to protect him much.
ive always just sparred elbows with pads on and just done it, i guess you can go harder with a helmet on though, any thoughts?

Did it for years, like most people just because Vu did it in his videos.

In my personal experience, its a terrible idea. Your head just rattles around in there, it puts far too much pressure on your neck, and its noisy as hell.

There is far better head protection available now for that kind of "all out" stuff.

I used to rent his vids from Tao Sport, every week id get a different one then catch the bus all the way home again.
I thought the pressure on the neck would be too much, just a standard head guard is ok i think and not going too hard.

Rob and his team moved up to a superb new showroom in Welwyn Garden City, just down the road from where I used to live. Its a great place, oh the money I spent in there!

Unfortunately, I don't think the move has worked out so its back to Green Lanes. Not too sad about that though, its now 10 mins up the road from my new pad

I think cutting himself off from london like that was probably a bad idea, i think he just needs a bigger place thats got public transport near it. Hope hes not lost too much on doing that, great guy.
will be down there again soon to tell him to stop plastering his bloody logo over everything
