  • Mistakes In Movies!

Got to thinking about mistakes I've seen in movies. This one is easy, as It's a favorite:

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - the young girl is able to overcome gravity all over the place, right? Near the end, when Chow Yun Fat's character is dying and she runs off for the poison antidote she goes by horseback - as a result, she wastes precious time and he dies just as she gets back. But that's movies for you.

Here's another - Enter the Dragon: In the great underground battle with Han's guards, Lee's character kills off Jackie Chan (one of his earliest roles) by brutally snapping his neck. A few shots later, however, Jackie attempts to attack Lee once more with no sign whatsoever there is anything wrong with his neck! This time, Lee strikes him with his nunchaku, sending Jackie into that vat of acid the Jim Kelly character was dumped into in an earlier scene.

Apparently Jackie died three times in that fight....it's called trusting what you got and don't go for no inferiors!

I have respect for Jackie, since he does his own stunts (and often times gets hurt because of it).

But I really can't say the same for Jet Li...

Didn't Jackie get his start as an acrobat? I think Chan, Yuen Baio and Samo Hung all did, but I could be wrong.

I'm of the generation where Jacky Chan was my inspiration to get started in martial arts rather than Bruce Lee.

heres one. in big lebowski, when jesus is bowling, he scores a strike and points to his partner who is scoring at the table. when he points back at his homie, you see that jesus is sitting behind his friend that he is pointing at.

Hey, here's another one in that same clip - right after he scores that strike, the rings he was wearing on his left hand fingers (when he was picking up the bowling ball to bowl with) are gone.
