The difference is that the PEOPLE and delegates selected Obama. McCain selected Palin himself on a whim. A vice presidential candidate really shows a presidential nominee's standards and judgement...or in this case the lack thereof.

You don’t get what I have been saying over and over again…Everyone is affected! You can’t tax those at the top and the businesses without affecting those in the middle and at the bottom especially those working and trying to save- 401Ks and pensions are affected, wages are affected, job creation is affected, benefit packages are affected, the cost’s of production is driven up and in return those costs get passed on to the consumer.

Clinton raised taxes in a relatively good economy but even he had to lower them 4 years later as the economy showed signs of slowing. Obama is going to raise taxes in an already slow economy. It is a very bad idea!

Treelizard- At a recent meeting with the Wall Street Journal editorial board, Republican presidential candidate John McCain admitted he "doesn't really understand economics" and then pointed to his adviser and former Senate colleague, Phil Gramm - whom he had brought with him to the meeting - as the expert he turns to on the subject, The Huffington Post has learned.

I am with ‘excessive’ I’d rather have someone tell me they don’t know and have advisors giving them good advice than Barrack’s bad tax polices. McCain’s policies are better than Barracks even though he doesn’t know much about the economy.

Did you see that video? Barrack didn’t even know that increasing the capital gains tax slows investment; it doesn’t take a degree in economics to understand that.

Treelizard-Obama sees Afghanistan as the front of the war on terror, while the "experienced" McCain doesn't. Obama says we need to wipe Al Qaeda off the map even if it means attacking Pakistan, McCain instead wants to continue with Bush policies that haven't really worked so well.

What Obama doesn’t seem to understand is that keeping America dependant on Middle Eastern oil we will always be involved in wars there. Osama Bin Laden use to go on long tirades about the Arabs selling their oil to the great Satan. Iran and Libya think that oil prices have dropped to low and are planning on cutting production.

How is this for an Obama foriegn policy endorment- Syria, Iran, Hezbulla, Hamas endorse Obama.

Obama attack Pakistan? That’s funny. He backed of the ‘undivided Jerusalem’ comment to appease the Palestinians. Do you really think he will follow through? I doubt it very much. Nothing but Big tough (empty) talk in an election.

I've been talking about Obama vs. McCain for about ten pages... Palin is a talking point because it shows McCain's terrible judgement.

Terrible Judgment?

Barrack’s decision making is questionable and then some.

While Obama was in the Illinois State Legislature, he voted “present” nearly 130 times instead of yes or no. Voting present is the same as voting against a bill without having to take personal responsibility for it.

He promised to take only public financing until he realized just how much money his campaign was bringing in from PACs and Corporate interest bundlers (in the millions of dollars).

He was against wiretapping before he voted for it.

When speaking to a pro-Israel group, Obama favored an undivided Jerusalem,” and then when Palestinian groups started complaining about it he changed his mind.

How can a man who has this much trouble making decisions, and then sticking to the few he does make, ever be a viable candidate for the most powerful job in the world?

After watching all these videos (including the ones in the previous posts) how can any liberal defend Barrack Obama’s past associations, lies, and his behavior? You can’t you can only call it normal and patriotic…If this is normal behavior than I can only conclude that liberalism is a mental disease.
