  • Too little too late...

The economy crunch is world wide! Markets across the globe took a dive this week.

So we have some 700 billion dollar bail out plan, eh?

This week 2.5 TRILLION vanished! Erased... gone!

This year US stocks have lost more than 8 TRILLION dollars in value...

Sorta puts the CRISES in perspective?

So a guy walks into the Emergency room bleeding from a chest wound. He's critically injured and spurting pint after pint of blood on the floor. What does he need? Surgery to repair the big hole? Or a .05 cent bandaid?

Lets use a cheap adhesive strip, right? That'll stop the blood loss!

    Phui!

We have a 500 billion pound bailout plan in the uk which is 1000billion US dollars.

But, they said in the news today that it wont work if other countries dont do the same.
So this could get really bad.

PLus we are half at war with iceland now after they tried to keep all our money so weve frozen their assets, they are calling it a cold war but i think its also a pun on it being cold there. But still, international relations with iceland have hit a real low. But good on gordon brown securing all the money for british investors.
We used anti-terror laws in order to do this. Quite something.
Basically we have shut all of icelands banks in the process though.

There is a Generally Accepted Accounting principle called "Conservatisim" I think the experts and so called big boys of finance flunked this lesson.

        Good one.

They also seem to have missed capitalism class the day we talked about risk vs. reward.

The fact that the huge bailout of the 80's is the reason we need this even bigger one now seems to have escaped a lot of notice too

We're not even putting a band aide on it Tant. All they did was put a clean shirt over the wound so it could bleed some more.

And were is all this bailout money coming from, the Fed is printing it, which is devaluing the dollar in your wallet drastically even as we speak.
