Canadians tend to be more socialist in their leanings. A lot of this has been traced to the harsher climate, and the low density population of the country, in which normal market forces did not braing about the same advances seen earlier south of the border.Some people say Canada's politics are different than the US. Not true. Canada is just as corrupt and worthless, but they don't have the media power to cover it all. Americans own the internet and most major news networks. Basically whatever the United States cares about, everybody else does too. Just because Canadian politics aren't a huge hype doesn't mean they're running smoothly.
