  • Judo/Bjj seminar by Goatfury

I am going to Brazil this summer to train and compete in the Mundials. My goal is to stay for over a month. With these lofty aspirations, I will need money.

Therefore, I'm trying to put together a series of seminars on the East Coast. If anyone is interested or knows of a school that might host a seminar, please contact me.

I've got my updated resume posted here:

Check it out if you have a sec.

I would be completely flexible for seminar topics. However, the area I feel I'm most qualified for teaching would be Judo for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition. I've done lots of BJJ and judo competitions, and I've been able to successfully employ judo throws repeatedly in BJJ competitions (and groundwork in judo competitions, as you might imagine).

Reasons to get me in there? Well, for one thing, I'm really cool. For another, I'm flexible with the dates and times. I am just a purple belt in BJJ but that also may be an advantage from an instructing standpoint- these are throws and techniques that work well for lower level guys AND advanced guys. Stuff I've tested repeatedly in competition, "trial by fire" stuff. AND.... I'm cheap.

I would be most likely looking at June for these seminars.

Anyway, I'd be happy to give you 3-4 hours of good stuff for everyone to use.

Thanks for taking some time to read this. Let me know what your thoughts are.

    -Andrew
