What: Ground Self-Defense & Survival

This 3 hour presentation will discuss the basics of personal safety and then teach participants what they can do against attackers who have knocked them to the ground during the assault. We will address the two basics phases of self-defense from the ground- Phase 1 is when the attacker has knocked the intended victim down yet remains standing. Phase 2 is when the attacker goes to the ground with the intended victim. This is a co-ed seminar but we will discuss the common sexual assault positions and show how to successfully escape them. If there is time and interest, participants will be given the opportunity to physically test their new skills against a live padded assailant.
This unique presentation is suitable for men, women, and teens (over the age of 15). No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. This is not a martial arts or wrestling class!
