I also picked up a couple of Newt's knives under the advice of a good friend. Dude these knives move and feel like nothing elese. I own an Almar and a couple Bud Nealy's as well as a Cold Steel Black Bear Classic and a Fred Perrine piece. Really nice knives really. But christ the Livesay is friggin awsome it may even beat out my love for my kerambit made by Siegel.
Perhaps i shouldnt have celebrated the Newt Livesay blades so early
on the bright side i got the E.E.L. from another source and it arrived last week
apparently quality and a good name dont mean what they used to, i also have a Masters of Defense blade that needs warranty covered work...I've been waiting since october of 2005 for an RMA so i can send it in...all i get is a run around since Blackhawk bought them out...maybe i need to start a beware these knife maker list as well.
