Well, I don't need to look at the picture to know exactly what a K-Bar looks like. But your question is easy to answer. TELL HIM THE TRUTH! Give it back to him before you mess it up any more and suggest he buy a REAL K-BAR instead of a cheap knock off made in China! The real ones are not that expensive!

Alright, scroll down to the bottom of this page and take a look at the KABAR.
I have a knife identical to this one(down to every last detail) except mine says "china" on it instead of USA. I recently just bent the tip on it when i was stabbing at a chuck of wood. I guess when I pulled the knife out, the very tip got crooked. And knife belongs to someone else!!! Ive been trying to bend it back gradually but it doesnt really work.Ive gotten it almost back to normal but now there's a dark mark one side of it and it still has a little uneveness. Find out who these people are and what knives they make. My spellin aint so good so some of the names could be off a little.

Once you find out who these guys are come back to me and we can discuss how anybody can afford a blade not made by these guys but as good as you can get of a production model.
