Whoa, I don't think I ever said I was a veteran(definitely hope not )...unless you're taking the name to mean as in the "Big Red One."

Do intend to serve though, I'm in the midst of applying to Navy OCS at the moment.
I really owe this country alot...I'll leave it at that.

I sure as hell do appreciate those who've served. I just hope I don't fvck up what you guys have left behind.

I have talked with a number of recruiters, am working on a few contracts and am getting the ball rolling.

The only thing I've tried out was the SEAL pt boot camp. I've done as much research as I can about the military, as I think its an honorable profession.

I have talked with a number of recruiters and am doing what I can to prepare myself.

If I pull the trigger, I want to be prepaired.

Well judging from your posts you are considering Navy or Marines, right?

My family has a long history in the Army and Air Force. I tried to enlist in 1991 but was turned down due to asthma. . . .
