Is enclosed transport worth it for daily drivers?

I’m shipping my SUV from Chicago to Miami. Should I save 25% with an open trailer, or is it better to pay more for a covered trailer? I want to make sure the car stays in great condition.

I think enclosed transport can be worth it for daily drivers, especially when protecting the vehicle from weather, road debris, and unnecessary wear is important. I would consider it more useful for long-distance trips or valuable vehicles than for short local drives. For motorcycles, I also prefer using a professional Motorcycle Towing service when a breakdown or transport issue comes up, since proper equipment helps prevent damage.
