I have to remodel my main bathroom. I need a new toilet some new ceramic tile near the toilet area, some sub-flooring around the toilet and a new shower. I have a jacuzzi in the bathroom. So I am seeking quotes for a remodel. This dude tells me that the new toilet with the sub floor will be $1,600, the new faucet on the vanity which is chrome is $2850 and get this the shower is $15,000. The new shower with glass doors isn't even stone or granite or tile. It's acrylic that doesn't like get stained. He later told me he up on the faucet and said I should buy my own and they will install it.
That has to be the biggest scam ever. I don't want a Menard's one piece fiberglass, but $15,000 for a acrylic shower with four pieces--bottom, and three sides with glass door. I'm like get the out.

In 2014 my well worn master bathroom was demolished down to the studs including the floor and rebuilt leaving nothing except the ceiling. Also blew out the entrance wall and moved it out 28”. The shower is marble tile which we laid ourselves. Total cost including dual sinks and a whirlpool tub was $10k.
