  • No adjusting screws visible on upvc sliding doors

I know this seems very odd but there are no adjusting screws visible on my double upvc sliding doors and there are no caps or plugs concealing them. I have searched many threads regarding this and I know there are rollers top and bottom with adjustment but I can’t get at them. These doors were made in Thailand and they have odd ways of doing things over here. Maybe because they don’t want us to do our own repairs. Could anyone shed any light on this problem as I have 7 double sliding doors. See picture of bottom of door.

I found that some manufacturers design their doors with concealed adjustment mechanisms to keep the look sleek and prevent DIY fixes. It might be that the screws are hidden under a trim or cover, or possibly inside the door frame itself. One option is to look for small plastic covers that can be pried off, or you might need to remove the door from the track to access the rollers. If you’re really stuck, companies like hadleighglass.co.uk are great for advice – even though they specialize in aluminum, they have tons of experience with door mechanisms.
