Has anyone had to give their little one oral steroids? If so, any side effects? We got it prescribed for croup and aren’t sure if his behavior is due to the steroids or not - running himself to exhaustion then waking up very very early from naps and night time sleep. Curious to know if this is normal with steroids so we can request a different form next time.

I see it's been a while since you've posted, but I just wanted to ask if anyone here had issues with increased pain or swelling a day or two after getting a cortisone shot? I've heard that's called a cortisone flare, but not sure how common it is or how long it should last. Curious to hear about other people's experience with that part of the process.Comment
