any way to get a key for this lock?

We never got the key when buying the house. any way to get the key for it? i dont see any serial numbers on the outside to give a company to recreate another key.

door is very thick, almost 2 inches. what are my options to lock this door?

Remove it and take it to your local locksmith. What door does it go to ?

I ran into something similar and ended up taking the whole lock to a local shop. Replacing the cylinder was quicker than trying to track down the right key. If you’re near London, I had luck with affordable locksmiths in Kensington who rekeyed mine on the spot without charging a ton.
