  • CBD Oil on Chemo

Hi, I am due to start Chemotherapy tomorrow and am looking at any ways I can help with side effects and have seen that CBD oil can help. I am VERY new to all of this, I just want to make sure I'm armed with the right info and support.
    Thank you

I’m using CBD oil and was also unsure about mixing it with chemo, so I asked my oncologist first. They were okay with it, as long as I wasn’t taking huge doses. If you're looking into a weed prescription uk, check out Releaf — they helped me go through the process and talk to a doctor who explained how it might affect my treatment. Always good to have medical input.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, and, understandably, you want to find ways to ease side effects before starting chemotherapy. Some people do find that CBD oil helps with symptoms like nausea, anxiety, pain, or trouble sleeping. I recently came across Simply Hemply, a brand that offers CBD products, but it’s very important to talk with your oncologist first before using anything new. CBD can interact with certain chemotherapy medications or affect how your body processes them. If your doctor agrees it’s safe, start with a low dose and use a reputable, lab-tested CBD product that’s free from contaminants.

I’ve seen some folks say CBD eased nausea or helped them chill a bit, but everyone’s body reacts differently, so I always loop my care team in before trying anything new during treatment. If you’re exploring plant-based add-ons, even something like cbn isolate can give you a sense of what’s out there, though chemo meds still take center stage. Your doctor can help sort out what’s safe to mix.

CBD oil may help with chemotherapy side effects like nausea, anxiety, pain, and sleep problems, but results vary. Many people prefer using products from trusted sources like Simply Hemply Wellness to ensure quality and safety. It’s important to talk with your oncologist first, because CBD can interact with some chemotherapy medications. If approved, start with a low dose. Along with CBD, staying hydrated, eating small frequent meals, gentle exercise, and relaxation techniques can also help manage side effects.
