    Anyone here use a rowing machine regularly? Any that you recommend?

    A little background, we are 5.11 climbers who are in decent shape. We don’t want this to lose weight, as we are both our ideal weights. We like Cardio as it keeps our endurance up for multiple sports. However, we just sold our treadmill as I absolutely hated running on it. So I was thinking a rower might be a great tool to use as a climber.

    Any expierence?

    Concept 2, no contest. Don’t waste your time with anything else. One thing to be careful of is nailing the form- you can really hurt your back if you do things wrong.

      I’ve been using rowing machines a few times each week during the winter to stay active, and it really helps keep my endurance up for long approaches. I set the resistance pretty low to keep things aerobic and add occasional sprints for power. I’ve also noticed it works my hip flexors and core better than I expected.
