Jira workflows

Hi,

i went through many guides or topics about HubSpot -> Jira automations and i actually couldn't find anything that could solve my problem.
Until now i've been using Zapier to automate creating Jira issue for our support department with HubSpot's Deal details after winning a deal.

I can see there is Jira in HubSpots marketplace to connect but it does not work the way i'd like it to.
Basically what i'd like to achive is to create a simple workflow in HubSpot that could connect Jira in 1 workflow, as for example it is with Slack, where you can send a Slack message with anything that Contact, Company or Deal is filled with, after object is created for example.



Will there ever be such possibility in HubSpot or still the only way is to use 3rd party tools to create such automation?

I set up a custom workflow trigger so when a deal hits a certain stage, it auto-creates a Jira ticket and tags the right contact using custom properties we mapped manually.

I’ve been using the Jira integration to auto-create tickets based on deal stage changes in HubSpot, and it’s been a big time-saver. I set it up so whenever a deal moves to a certain stage, a Jira ticket is automatically created with mapped fields. It took a bit of testing to get the field mapping right, but once done, it really helped align our sales and support teams.
