    Help appreciated.
    We have a chrome towel rail in the bathroom attached to the central heating system....
    It is roughly 8mths old and we wondering can it be removed and used as an electric towel rail instead by fitting an heating element.

    The instructions dont mention it being a duel fuel towel rail though..​

    Yes, you can swap it over from central heating to electric. However, there’s a bit more to it than simply taking one off the wall and replacing it.

      I had the same issue with a tight space and ended up fitting a 350mm wide chrome heated towel rail — it's compact but still does the job well. Just make sure to double-check your pipe centres before fitting. Mine lined up fine after a bit of a shift. Took a bit of playing around with isolating valves too, but all sorted in the end.
