It's been awhile since I've worn sandals, I know I'm weird. But the biggest problem I have is that the straps often rub the sides of my pinky toe and big toe. I don't necessarily have wide feet, just poor choices in shoes. I often go for appearance which doesn't always work out the best for comfort. My feet sometimes swell now so my regular shoes are not working out and it's been so hot that I'm ready to try wearing sandals again. Any recommendations on shoe brands? I'd like to prioritize comfort over appearance, I walk a couple miles several times a week. Any information is helpful, I've been browsing shoes online but I don't know where to start. Thanks!

I’ve had the same issue with straps rubbing the sides of my toes, especially after a long walk. What helped me was finding sandals with softer straps and a bit of flexibility in the sole. You can Check it out here, it's a website for Havaianas, Ipanema, Reef, and Rider — they’ve got a bunch of lightweight options that don’t dig in as much.
