What is the best photo size for quality uploads to dashboards?

I have a dashboard that connects to my Google Drive with many images. However, the images tend to look blurry in the dashboard. They are saved in a variety of file sizes such as 10KB, 50KB, 100KB, and 200KB. You would expect the 200KB photos to be the most clear, but they are still blurry. Any suggestions on what to do?

I had an issue with blurry images until I started resizing them to match the dashboard's display size exactly—no more stretching or shrinking. I also compress them a bit before uploading to cut down file size. For quick testing, I sometimes grab images from nixplay.com—they're already optimized and look clean when dropped into Tableau without extra tweaking.
