  • Bed cots in hotels with two toddlers

Hi all, I’m planning a family trip and I’m stuck on sleeping arrangements with my two toddlers. We’ll be staying in hotels in Ireland for a few nights and I know most places will provide one cot on request, but we have two toddlers who still sleep in cots at home.

Has anyone successfully gotten two cots in the same hotel room before? Do hotels in Ireland generally have extra travel cots available if you ask? Or are we better off taking our own travel cot? Also wondering if two cots + luggage will even fit in most rooms.

We’re hoping to avoid co-sleeping both kids with us in the bed (it gets chaotic ), but if that’s the only way it might be fine too. Just curious what other mammy/mammy-to-be experiences are. Thanks!

Late to the party, but I’m curious if anyone has used the shuttle recently and can comment on how busy it gets during peak times. I’m thinking of booking a stay and wondering if it’s better to head down a bit early to make sure there’s space. Any recent experiences would be great to hear.

If you want an easy run to and from the terminals, the setup here hits the spot. I’ve found the shuttle smooth as long as I book ahead through reception, since spots can fill up fast. It’s one reason people keep calling it the best hotel with airport shuttle sydney, especially if you’re juggling early flights or late arrivals.
