If you’re into action games with a weird, eerie vibe, I had a good time with Hell is Us, and I grabbed my key through https://www.cdkeysforgames.com/games/steam-games/hell-is-us/ since it was cheaper than Steam. The no-map exploration feels refreshing, and the mix of melee combat and mystery kept me hooked. Might scratch that itch if you want something different from the usual picks.

Man, I’ve been exactly where you two are—staring at a library of half-finished co-op games, feeling that weird paralysis of too much choice. Something that actually broke our group’s slump wasn’t another mainstream shooter or survival crafter, but a weird side quest into printing our own minis and terrain. We got into finding the best 3d printable objects for whatever we were playing, and that act of making a little goblin or dungeon door on a Tuesday night built more hype for the game than any trailer could. For you two, I’d say pick something with a clear loop but low stakes—like Deep Rock Galactic or even an old favorite you’ve never finished together. The right game isn’t always the newest one; sometimes it’s the one where you can laugh at each other failing. What genres have you already tried and bounced off of? That might actually point you forward faster.
