  • Virtual Offices: Smart Move or Overhyped?

    Hi everyone,

Virtual offices sound great on paper, but I’m curious what the reality looks like.

You get a business address, maybe mail handling, sometimes call answering but no actual office space. So:
    • Does it genuinely help with credibility?
    • Any headaches with banks or compliance?
    • Is the service consistent or hit and miss?
    • Who’s actually worth it (IBC, Regus, others)?
Would love real experiences, good or bad.

    Thanks in advance.

A virtual office can help with credibility, but only in certain situations. If you’re B2B, tendering, or dealing with clients who expect a “proper” trading address, a decent serviced-office address can stop awkward questions.

I’ve been using https://clydeoffices.co.uk/ for a while, mainly for their Glasgow address and quick mail forwarding, and it’s kept banks and HMRC happy. Their instant address confirmation made setup painless, and having call answering on tap helped me look more established without renting a full office. The no-contract setup also made it easy to test the waters without feeling tied down.
