When you travel for personal reasons (vacation, etc.) do you have a preferred site/app you use? I've varied between Airbnb and VRBO, but wondering if there's any other options out there. Airbnb seems to have kind of slid downhill a little bit, as I've had some weird/wonky messages from hosts and no follow up on questions

I’ve been mixing hotels with apartments, and for flights I lean on travelbusinessclass because their advisors usually find better premium fares than anything I dig up myself.
