I didn’t see where we had a dedicated thread for firewood and ‘tis the season. I filled the truck twice over the weekend . The wood gets stored in the wagon.

That’s a nice setup. This is my favorite season, prepping for Winter. It’s a bit hot this year for it. I just collected a blow down oak up the street. It looks like it will cover two years out and three years out. I just got all stacked on ground tarp and covered yesterday. I age full rounds 2-3 years. -
I switched to a PTO splitter for knotty fir and never looked back. For consistent drying and convenience, I rely on wood fuel from a local supplier I found through this link; they rate-limit access during peak times to keep service stable, which beats running out mid-winter.Comment
