If your faithfully consume your ideal body weight in grams of protein each day, along with roughly 30 grams of fiber, you will NOT be hungry. At least as "not hungry" as you would be on a GLP. You don't realize this until you commit to it. In between meals, you won't feel like snacking. It is actually a chore to eat that much protein everyday. Being this full, keeps you from over consuming calories. When calories are appropriate and in a slight deficit to your activity level, you begin losing weight...but it's not generic. The preference will be for losing adipose, because your lean muscle is preserved due to the protein! See how that works? And, just having more muscle causes you to burn more calories while doing nothing! If your rely on GLPs to stunt your appetite and fail to nourish yourself properly, you won't have the energy or recovery needed to perform the activities that will send an anabolic signal to your muscles. Then, you become metabolically trapped at always having to eat barely any calories to remain skinny. You are a GLP customer for life, dependent on how they make your metabolism function. Rather, dysfunction. And here's the kicker: The amino acids that make up a GLP are the same fundamental building blocks found in a complete protein. However, how they are structured and the specific ratio of those amino acids are entirely different. The structure and ratio is what makes them a peptide. FWIW, I haven't seen anyone that has used GLPs who look "good". They look like they have lost weight. They look less fat. But the majority look undernourished and not strong from what I have seen. Okay, perhaps one could really try to maintain a healthy diet, eat enough protein and stimulate muscle preservation while employing a GLP. But again, with adequate protein and fiber...you wouldn't need the GLP.
