Eagle hockey pants vs. Bauer nexus pro pants

I need some help with Eagle hockey pants vs Bauer Nexus Pro stock pants.
I’m currently wearing Bauer Nexus Pro stock pants in XL+1 and I really like the fit, comfortable, not too tight, and good mobility.
I’m looking at trying Eagle pants but I know they fit more like Tackla and tend to be a different style/sizing. I tried CCM HP35 pants before and they were way too big and boxy for me so I don’t want to make that same mistake again.
For anyone familiar with both brands, do you recommend any Eagle model, and what size would be closest to a Nexus XL+1 fit? Should I be looking at XL or do they run too large?
Any advice from people who’ve switched from Nexus to Eagle would be appreciated.

Have you tried MHP7000s or HP70s yet? I suspect you're not going to like how wide the legs/hips are compared to the nexus.

Sizing across brands is tricky, especially with European cuts. Eagle runs wider in the hips and legs than your Nexus, so I’d try the MHP7000s in a large for a closer feel. For comparing size charts, I use https://www.hockeyhorizon.com/en/brands to check detailed measurements before buying.
