  • types of music while training?

    yea i know each person has there own likes and dislikes.
    but i was just wondering what other ppl like while training esp during boxing and running.

    i like listening to rock like linkin park and others

    and also micheal jackson for some reason is good for me aswell.

    im new btw:P

    Funny, someone did this same thread a while back. I am a hip-hop guy, so it has to be something with a heavy beat.

      I choose to listen to electronic music, or "techno" if you will.

      Hard House, Progressive Trance, any of the harder yet driving types... I'm not into the dancy prancy type crap though, which I hear often in gyms.

        It all depends on my mood, but generally I'll listen to any kind of music.

          I like some metal, some techno, some hiphop. It all depends on the mood and training. Metallica and Pantera have always been a staple of my training music.

              "Songs of the Whales" Really, really LOUD!!! I got it in the gift shop of the Florida Aquarium. Freaks out the natives.

                              In a way that makes sense.... but for me, when you have been going 110%, as hard as you can go, and your muscles and mind are screaming for you to stop.....in other words, thinking can sometimes be a bad thing. Because all you want to do is stop the pain. Now everyone is going to say "Whatever, that never happens to me....", "I like the pain"....... "You just need to have more self-discipline".....
                              Stuff like that.

                              But music takes your mind off the pain and pushes you harder then you could carry yourself with just your mind.
