  • weightless forearm exercises

    HI all,

Im taking a trip out of town for a couple of weeks ( with my laptop so I will still be browsing the site).

I am hoping to carry on my training and exercises but I wont have any weights or equipment so can someone tell me some exercise involving nothing but bodyweight for my forearms. thanks

If you are familiar with Isometric exercises just put pressure on one hand witht he other and then just do a normal forearm curl and alternate back and forth.

I think I know where he got his name from. lol jk
I would make one of those stress relieving toys. Get a couple of balloons wrapping one around the other making it extra strong and then fill it with clean sand like the stuff you buy from the stores. Tie off the end with something so that it doesn't bust and voila. or you could just dish out a few bucks to buy one already made from like a convenience store or something.

Ahhh, come on. I thought that was pretty funny. Anyway, they sell tons of stuff you could buy for your forarms. Those hand grip thingies and the rubber ball type thing. So I don't know what they're called, sue me! Anyway, you could probably find those things in a pharmacy like CVS. It will strengthen your gripping strenghth as well as your forarms. You could also fill up an empty gallon with water and do wrist curls. Now if you really want to get a piece of equipment then go to a sporting goods store like "Modell's" they have this apparatus that targets the forarms. My cousin bought one years ago but I'm not sure of the name. Just walk in and ask someone that works there or look around. Good luck.

they used to sell this device at Big 5. It would strap up to your arm and have springs at the joint where your wrist is. Then you just move your wrist up and down against the resistance. I haven't seen it for years though. The sorry thing about it was that if you were a hairy guy your hair might get stuck in the springs.
