  • Arms & Shoulders

I've been working out for the past two months. What I came to realize is that, my left arm and shoulder is somewhat smaller. It's probably due to my current job, because I didn't have that problem before or maybe I just didn't notice it. Anyway, i'm looking for suggestions thanks

I had the same thing happen to me because of work and im very near equalling them out, its not even noticable anymore. The only thing you can really do is work that arm more than the other, like if your doing shoulders, do one thing that works both of them like usual (or not, its up to you if you'd rather halt changes to equal them out faster or not), but make sure to do like 1 or 2 other exercises only with your left arm, so say if you do rows, then do whatever you want with your left shoulder. Examples: lateral raises, front raises, dumbbell shoulder press, pick 1 or 2.
Basically anything with Dumbbells so you can do them with one arm at a time.
Then do the same for biceps, triceps and so on. Just make SURE to use proper form and make sure to equal them out properly with the right exercises. Hope that helps, i know it helped me.

But id like to hear other people opinions as well.....

just ignore it. your right arm is bigger because you use it more and are more skilled with it. thats a benefit! i know its a weird concept but you are NOT symetrical and were never meant to be. personally i build my right tricep for shear strength, left somewhere inbetween calisynthetics and weight and both biceps mostly calisynthetically. why? because when in a fight do you have to pull anything towards you with 50kgs of force? (given i dont grapple)

quite honestly right now go and look in the mirror, find the line from the middle of your nose at the top down to where your two top front teeth meet, then work out which of your eyes is higher up my left is higher.

hmmmmm well i guess i would actually be a little annoyed if it was noticable, just over exercise the left.

Do more heavy weights and less reps with your left, and more reps with less reps on your right. When they even out, do the same training for both.
