    I can't do any pullups.

But I'm good at the martial arts I do, which are Shotokan karate and BJJ. Good enough to go in competitions and routinely get a place, and good enough to hold my own in class against men who, I am sure, can do pullups.

        BLLAAAA !
Does anyone hear have any step-by-step katas of using a bokken or a bo, jo, or hanbo? All I need are images of the katas, if anyone has any, that would be great. I'm posting this exact message as a next thread, so please reply there. Thanks.

              Just do it

If you're serious about training, then distance can't matter. Don't think too much about which style you choose, as there is no better styles (everyone likes to think their style is the best), there are only better fighters, and you'll be a better fighter by what you put into your art, whichever style you choose.

Also you might never lose all the weight. If you don't, use it to your advantage. I just watched an escrima fight where a ridiculously fast skinny fighter was performing 50 fancy moves, but got whipped by a larger fatter fighter with just one powerful hit.

BTW - Fat doesn't mean slow.

Certainly not the guy who posted the thread, with his silly poll.

                    Now now, Delerious Ninja.
