You guys, you can be 17 and capable of that. Highly unlikely, but there are some. In Anthony Swoffard's "Jarhead," he said at 17, he was capable of benching like 450 pounds before he joined the Marines.
However man, one thing, if you're really training like this: WORK YOUR LEGS WITH HEAVY-ASS WEIGHT. You will NEVER be match in a fight against a trained person with super-weak legs, or a super-weak midsection. Aim for like 200-300 full straight situps and hanging leg raises, etc...remember, the abs are core. Your legs won't grow unless you work them without some heavy-duty resistance. Do not believe that if you work your legs with heavy resistance it will slow you down, look at football players.
However, also, READ UP some on training. Doing loads of pushups and bechning first off confuses the body. Pushups work endurance, benching heavy weight works anaerobic muscle, which uses no endurance. So you can confuse the body on which to develop.
Also, you can do shoulder damage if you do too many pushups all the time.
Make sure though that you do not ahve gorilla-syndrome. That is where you mainly work the crap out of your uper-body and the lower body is tiny.
There is this one guy at my school's gym; he has a beautiful upper-body (bodybuilding-wise), you know, al the muscles in his arms ripple and all that, you can see he really works hard on that. The problem is his legs!!!!! They are so skinny. It doesn't even look like he works them. He is actually hilarious looking. so guys have upper bodies more developed than their legs, but this guy has a huge upperbody with skinny legs. My point is, if you have that, fix it! Cuz other-wise, you will be very off-balance in learning to fight.
Also everyone, super muscular strength doesn't make one a great fighter overnight. You think any of those Olympic gymnasts are necessarily great fighters, or even know the first thing about fighting?? Some may, but they're just very strong guys.
Do like everyone says though and don't go into any fighting gym claiming how strong you are; martial artists love to kick the crap out of super-strong people who brag (not that you do, if you are telling the truth).
