thanks for the advice i'll check that out, But i think i also need to strengthen my wrists, i think that is another reason i cant do very many finger pushups, i can do more one handers then fingerpushups.
I think it is mainly cuz of my wrists now that i think about it, because when i hit the punching bag soft or normal i hit fine, but when i try to hit it hard my wrists like to fold, (that stuff makes me freekin mad), and it hurts a little. I do wrist curls a lot, but there must be another wrist and forarm workout that will work different parts and is more effective.

I can think of one exercise that works out the wrist and forearm, unless your a girl. But seriously i can understand the need to strength your wrist but whyy the hell do you need to do finger pushups. And if your wrist is folding up you are probably just not hitting right

actually (hand to hand dude) i dont really do that much curls, my reaction speed is high,i mainly work on lundges, benchpress, shoulders, triceps, and lats, i always thought curling would slow ur punching speed down, but now that i think about it its really good for the forearms, im going to that more often.

Careful with the fingers, they are easily strained. And careful with grip training in general. It is easy to over train and injure yourself. Just like I did.
Crumpling up a towel, and then gripping it loads and loads of times will work all the hand. But don't forget to train the "opposite" direction by doing this exercise:-
Stretch out your fingers and thumb, with all the tips touching. With the other hand make a "hole" between your thumb and forefinger. Put hand number one into this "hole" and then attempt to sprise the hole apart by tensing the fingers outwards.
This is necessary to prevent an imbalance in your muscles.

Work your biceps as well; biceps compliment your triceps. If you do deadlifts (for your back) or shulder shrugs (for traps) they will also work out forearms - dead lifts really work everything out. When you work your biceps, don't just do hammercurls. As you curl dumbells, roll your wrists as you reach the top of your arc. It's an easy way to make sure you work your forearms as you curl. And just do forearm curls, just like a curl except you use your wrist as the pivot point instead of your elbow. When your upperarms outgrow your forearms too rapidly and by too much, you can end up with a pinched nerve in your forearm.
