i have a question for anyone who might know the answer. ive been working out for a couple years now and have made some decent gains. i however dont to get too much bigger than i am now becuase i want to remain slender. however i dont want to stop lifting hard because the strength gains that come with lifting are awesome. is there any way to get massive strength gains without building too much mass?

Slender how? In the midsection? Don't over eat. I am not sure on what type of advice to give as you have only been lifting for 2 years. That would mean you have really only experienced initial gains and not hit a plateau. Initial gains come fast then they almost seem to stop. For strength lift ONE group ONCE a week with low reps, high sets. For instance 2-4 reps 6-8 sets. REST this is important to strength gains. You will grow some but not like you would when you stimulate a ton of muscle fiber through high reps if you don't stimulate it, it won't hypertrophy. That's about basic for strength gains, rest being the most important. Your CNS needs to recover which takes days longer than the amount of time your muscle takes to recover. You might need to adjust reps, sets to yourself maybe more, maybe less. You prolly won't ever get to a point of being to big unless you have crazy genetics and eat like a horse.
