  • Eating Binges....how to stop

    ok i need help lol.

    Im in good shape and i try to eat healthy, but once in a while i go on an eating binge.

    Like yesterday, i ran windsprints cause its a good workout. Then went to work and had a healthey lunch. I get home and im really hungry, And i order a pizza and ate the wholed effing thing by myself. Thats horrible, its like i cant control myself.

    What to do when i get in these moods, for some reason its always with pizza too. I know its just like "control yourself: or dont eat pizza. But still its like a craving.

    With regular exercise eating an ocassional pizza probally wont do much damage. As for self control practice meditation frequently and try to identify what triggers the binges then you can eliminate the cause and thus eliminate the effect(binging) I hope that helps

        Phone all the pizza places and tell them to never let you order any pizza above small? That would work if they agreed to it lol, even if u ate a whole small pizza... that really isnt all that much... and dont worry about it, people put way too much stress on their diet, sure mine could be better... but I eat w/e I want whenever I want and yes that includes whole pizzas... one week I ate a whole pizza everyday for lunch... oh ya, I have no idea how old you are, so our metabolisms could be different, but dont worry about it so much if your exercising regularly.

          I'm 17, and yes i do excersice daily, alot. But still i mean that cant be good for you. I mean it was 8 pieces , and while i was eating it, I wasnt hungry after the third or fourth piece but for some reason i just kept goin.

          I know i shouldnt worry about it, cuase of my age and metabolism but its just weird that once in a while i just turn into a savage around food and just go all out.

              Enzo,

              You may like to try a session or two with a sports psychologist. I've known quite a few people who've had similar sorts of issues helped by a sports psych. (i.e. issues that are related to sports or performance, like eating issues, emotional issues that have prevented them from giving 100% to an activity, etc.)

                The reason that you ate it all is probally because IT TASTE GOOD! Anyway diet is probally only 15 to 20 % as important as exercise
