  • Bruising

    I seem more prone to bruising than some others. After sparring I can be covered with large yellowed bruises where I've taken pretty good shots. I know some people that seem to never bruise. I've asked around and have had mixed results on the answers. Some people say that its because I have great circulation, and thats good. Others say my platelet count is too high and thats bad. I figured I'd ask people that have to deal with this all the time. So my questions are;
    are there ways to prevent bruising, or at least make them heal faster?
    Why do some people bruise more easily than others?

    You bruise more easily because..... that would be interesting to find out eh? As for healing, what about Thai oil or some Chinese linaments? Googled Muay Thai Arthritis the other day and found this (http://www.bltsupplies.com/saccheal.html). Loads of stuff, pretty cheap. A good springboard to do research on the products and to search out others.
