I am helplessly addicted to chocolate. The longest I've gone without chocolate or refined sugar was 3 weeks...and I developed a substitute addiction to apple juice.

Didn't know how to fill out the survey. I have a glass of wine with dinner every now and again, and drink hard liquor every couple of months or so... but I don't know if that makes me a "drinker."

Just drinking and a joint less than six times a year or something like that..
I do drink weekly, but usually just a few beers on a friday night. I rarely get wasted (usually I end up being the one taking care of the chicks who pass out. Some people just wont' learn their limits)
I don't even see drinking and occational herb tasting as a bad thing. Every man needs to have some small vice or he ends up with big ones.. If you try to keep things too strick and never loosen up it's gonna end up affecting your training. When doing what we do becomes a pain in the arse instead of an enjoyable lifestyle you will end up burning yourself out.
Smoking regurally on the other hand (tobacco or pot) will **** you up. You can't expect to stay in shape if you smoke.

I have to disagree. I have been a steady pot smoker for almost a year now. Although when I first started I smoked too much for my own good (spending too much money and letting my priorities slip).

I have since limited my smoking to once a day, always after I'm off work, through at the gym and have finished training. I work hard and train hard and I'm in great shape.

we'll see how you are in a couple of years when all that buildup in your lungs from smoking really starts taking its toll.

my dad has been smoking since he was 17, my brother since he was 16, and my buddies dad has been smoking since he was 11. All three of them could make someone hurt REAL fast. They're all like grease lighting. Smokers just learn how to hurt people FASTER rather than learn how to fend off and survive and go the distance. Smokers are very very quick finishers because they know they have to be.

they don't get a chance. not much chance to be smart when someone's already dropped you on your head on the concrete. If you're lucky your not retarded afterward. my BJJ partner keith went up against my dad. Tried to be a smart ass and threw a really quick jab right toward my dad's face...wasn't a feint either... my 69 year old dad snatched it out of the air, took a handfull of keith's nuts, did a goofy ass fireman's carry and dumped my pal keith right on his head.....then walked away at like .0001 mph....in his little old man hobble.

i gave up drinking quite a long time ago, im giving up smoking weed in the new year,

i will have no bad habbits soon, i dont eat bad anyway so thats not a problem, i dont take western medicine for minor things, i use tiger balm and herbs only,

i dont drink any soda type drinks, only water milk and 100% pure juice, but weed actually helps my taiji training i must admit, but i will stop smoking it,

                            peace.

Alcohol for me, only on the weekends though. I don't really see a problem with it, yeh it is effecting me slightly but not enough to cause concern, i do KSW and other arts for self defense and fun, Alcohol (unless i am attacked intoxicated) will not have that great of affect
