  • Cardio.

I've been running/jugging for about 30 minutes a day now, and I was wondering...Is the after effect of experiencing hunger normal?

And should I just ignore it? Or eat something ?

It is normal as your body has just lost energy(calories were burnt regardless of wether you burnt off fat, carbohydrates, or protein) and is responding(in fear of losing more calories) by telling you to ingest something that can be burnt to produce calories(the calorie is a unit of heat energy). Why are you doing cardio? Are you much overweight? If your body is telling you to eat then it is probably not comfortable at a lower body fat. Many people will not do well under about 8-10%bf. Going below the level that your body is comfortable at will cause you to lose power as your body will want to return to normalcy(homeostasis). Also, cardio is quite detrimental to building strength/power and VERY bad when bulking....

you're only jogging about 30 minutes. Thats really not enough to build up an appetite. Most Americans thirst drive is so low that they mistake thirst for hunger. Whether you want to lose weight, bulk up, get healthy, whatever; you should be drinking between 1.5 - 2 gallons of water per day. Drink a couple of glasses of water when you feel hungry. Give it 1/2hr and if youre still hungry then eat a little. It might be something else, but its a suggestion.
