  • Vitamins and minerals.

    I take quite a lot of supplements, heres a list;

    1. Creatine powder. (have never had problems with this)
    2. Muti vitamins and minerals. Multibionta . (or this)
    3. Cod liver oil. (or this)
    4. Selenium and zinc. Holland and Barrat own brand. (or this)
    5.Glucosamine sulphate. (or this)
    6. Protein tablets. (or this)

    A lot of people say I don't need them.I feel they are jumping the gun a bit but I reckon I am going a bit over board. Can anyone out there give me some sound guidence as I am a bit lost in the world of supplements at the moment and don't know which way to turn?

    I imagine it would have a lot to do with what you are trying to accomplish.

    I take multivitamins simply because otherwise I would overhydrate due to how much I lose through sweat or drinking water to rehydrate.

    I take protein because I want to maintain muscle mass while cutting fat, and to help recovery.

    I take glucosamine because I have a "touchy" joint and glucosamine regularly taken seems to help it whenever I mess it up.

    I don't have any reason to take anything else, which is why I don't.

        Yeah

        Thats a real good point, the goal is important. I take multi-vitamins just cause they are important. And I take coenzymeQ10- cause it helps a lot with bloodflow and the heart (cardio and muscle recovery).

        Also protein is good for muscles. I take that with an extra amino acid.

        So yeah.
