  • RAN THAT SHIT LIKE Prefontaine!!! WOOT!!!

I did it, I got my Sub-80 minutes t-shirt from the Tilden Tough Ten Miler race!! I redeemed myself from last year when I ran the race last year after a night of drinking and an hour's sleep...

The Tilden Tough Ten Miler is just what it is, a Tough Ten Mile race in Tilden park(Berkeley), with undulating hills, and a killer hill at the halfway mark that is just Vertical, that leaves even the best runners sucking wind and gasping for breath.. so yeah next goal is to get the Sub 70 minutes shirt...

I finished 71st out of 250 runners, a lot of which are Elite, Mutant type running machines but have like no muscularity except in the legs..

Nice one! That's one hell of a pace to keep up for 10 miles.

Yeah, what I am going to do is start running this actual course more often, because anyone can run a flat course all day.. I am going to run and run and run and run this course more often.. combine it with my floorwork and skipping rope and hitting the heavy bag..

How's your training goin and progress dropping weight?

what happened was at mile 9, I looked at my watch and I was at exactly 70:00 minutes so I had 10 minutes left to get sub 80, I was exhausted from all the hills especially that killer hill at the halfway mark, and I decided I was going to run at a steady pace, finally finished at 78:45.

I know that doesn't sound like a blistering pace but you should see this course, nothing but undulating hills and inclines...

running the Silicon Valley marathon here in October and my goal is 3 hours and 30 minutes or faster...
