If there were 12 of them and 3 of you than using your Parkour to run away is probably your best bet

the other side of the Parkour issue is how very annoying it is to have all these yokels runnin around in public scaring and startling normal folks. Are they in trouble? where? what trouble? should I start running too? are they trying to get away from the cops? should I stop 'em? conduct a citizen's arrest?

Then there's the annoyance of seeing footprints going up the side of your clean, newly-painted building. It's just as bad as grasffiti! Many's the time I've fantasized about sticking my foot out and tripping one of these fools as they run by...

Oh, and yeah... how does somebody doing Parkour get attacked by 12 assailants? They'd have to catch you first, wouldn't they?

I'd like to expound on this idea a bit - I keep reading these stories (Garland, et. al.) about getting in these big-arsed gang fights. How the heck do you get in a twelve vs. three fight in the first place? If I see twelve guys hanging out together, I go around them (way around). If they move towards me, I use my Backaway-kwon-do.
This is not a flame, I'd just like to know how this stuff happens? Did you Parkour over them? Jump off a wall and land on somebody's shoe?

You know what I think would help you. With no disrespect intended, some common sense...

What did you do to provoke the crowd? Did they display hostility towards you? Did you respond to them? Why would you let 12 guys roll up on you? This happens once a week? Have you considered stopping whatever it is your doing to get beat up once a week?

No art, I don't care what anyone says is going to prepare you for 12 on 3 odds. The movies aren't real, none of us are like Jet Li here. You want to just learn how to handle yourself and gain some self-confidence... Go to your local Boxing Gym and check it out...

It helped me against 3 people. Just try to knock them out with one punch
