  • I'm 6'4" and 185 pounds

As the title says I'm 6"4" and 185 pounds. I looking to get in shape more than getting big but I would like to gain about 15-20 pounds. The only thing is that I don't have access to a gym. I'm very busy with working 2 jobs,
in the military, 2 daughters and a wife. I was looking into the Navy Seals workout because I could run, do pushups, and do situps at the house. How good will that help my goal? Also, my eating habits are bad? What do you recommend? I will be quitting my 2 job in about 3 months and will start doing kickboxing so I want to be in shape for that. Please advise. Thanks.

I would go with Charles Staley's EDT(Escalating Density Training) http://www.charlestaley.com/ It's a versitile system you can use to most types of muscle gaining exercises. If you only have 30 min. max a day...this system is for you

I personaly like kettlebell exercises however I am cheap and went with Kettlestacks www.kettlestack.com I actually find this weight lifting system better than kettlebells due to the fact I can go up 2.5lb to 5lb at a time (usually every two weeks at the most) Which I think is better than jumping from 35lbs to 55lbs than to 70lbs. Like the kettlebells.

And if you are interested, here's a site to help you choose which kettlebell exercises you'd like to do. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kettlebells.htm

This is just my opinion. At the most I hope it helps you out a little.
You have a great day. 8)

The Navy SEAL workout will probably make you loose weight since its probably designed to get you quick, agile and improve your stamina.

If you're trying to gain weight, you're better off lifting weights and increasing your intake of calories. Eat more but eat healthier.
